6th Fine Wine Tasting and Silent Auction
To benefit the SRRC

Once again this gala fundraising event will take place at the Smoke Rise Village Inn located on Perimeter Road in Smoke Rise. The charming and historic Village Inn was once the carriage house and stable of the Kinney estate, a country gentleman's estate that comprised the whole of Smoke Rise. Valley Wines and Spirits in Wayne, NJ will again provide an extensive variety of wines from around the world. Once you have tasted your favorite, you can purchase wines by the case with 20% of the proceeds going to support the Club.
The silent auction will include artwork by Phyllis Johnson, a Kinnelon artist, whose work is featured in galleries across the metropolitan area, as well as works by Smoke Rise's own Leah Cornwell, featuring photography of beautiful landscapes and intriguing animals. Other silent auction items will include vacation homes, travel, jewelry and equestrian gifts.
In addition to wine and cheese, there will be pasta-tasting stations, hors d'oeuvres, desserts and coffee enjoyed to the accompaniment of music in a charming setting accented with fresh bouquets of peonies.
The Rding Club presents this wonderful ambiance in an elegant equestrian environment in gratitude for the generosity of those who attend and support out Junior Riders.

Wear your support for the SRRC with pride! Beautiful T-shirts, polo shirts, tank tops and sweatshirts are available for purchase in various colors and sizes. If you wish to place an order contact Mary DiBrigida at 973-838-8354. The company that makes the shirts has a minimum number of items that must be purchased with each order and when we get enough requests, another order will be submitted.

Grand Champion Awards again offered for the 2008 Show Season

For the 2008 show season, Smoke Rise Farms will again be offering a Grand Champion award/prize in each division for the rider/horse accumulating the most points at our shows. The Grand Champion Awards add a new competitive dimension to our show schedule!

We will be presenting prizes to the high point winners of each division at the last October show. The club is still in need of sponsorship support for these awards. If you would be willing to sponsor a division, please send a check made out to the Smoke Rise Riding Club for $100.00 to:
